15 Blog Posts I'm Yet To Write

I don't know about you but I find it really hard to make time for my blog at the moment. School is no joke. School is literally taking over everything! It's not that I have a major writer's block, it's just so hard to put my thoughts into words these days. I get distracted so easily, so whenever I'm about to write a new post my house mates are always there to distract me. Sorry not sorry.

Or is it I'm not opinionated as per always? Lol I don't know.

Now, I have seen quite a few bloggers making a list of things/ post they are yet to write and asking people which one they would like to see next on the blog. So I thought, this is a brilliant idea for my next blog post! I have been neglecting my blog again and I'm super guilty about it. Hopefully these ideas sound like your cup of tea and maybe with a little bit of encouragement from you guys, I can find the inspiration on what to write next.

Blogging Slump And How I Get Rid Of It

Blogging Slump and How I Get Rid Of It | Lenne Zulkiflly

Hi everyone! Oh. My. God. It's been such a long time since I last posted. The past weeks have been quite busy but I also have to admit it was due to minor laziness that this blog went abandoned for quite some time. I might be dramatic but life and school literally have no mercy on me. Really. I had tons of post ideas in my head, but...

  • Life gets in the way. What can I say. Life gets in the way 24/7 and you do know blogging is something that takes time. It take lots of it.
  • Too much pressure. I have to admit that I sometimes feel like I have to blog, as if it were a job or a chore. It just makes the whole thing become less fun. I keep making those "I don't feel like blogging" or "I'm not in the mood today" excuses, you know what I'm saying. I feel like blogging is somehow a competition, people put up their incredible contents regularly while I'm doin' nothin' gurl. This is not a good sign.
  • I feel like I have 'not good enough' post ideas. Although I have tons of them in my head, I keep thinking "Does it worthy to talk about?" or "Will someone actually read it?" until I have come to the level where I overthink about it. It's just a post BTW.
  • Not having enough time. This is legit one of the biggest reasons why I have fallen into a huge slump. Sometimes life gets really busy and when that just continuously happens, there is just not enough time to blog.
Now you know why I have fallen into a big blogging slump. However, there are always ways to escape from the slump and make it up to my dearest blog because I abandoned it. I actually like to...

  • Read blogs that inspire me. For this part, I have to say Bloglovin' is the answer. Haha. Nothing new. Even if I don't feel like blogging, looking at other posts that I like somehow helped me to get my blogging mojo back. Bloggers like Nicole from The Glam Surge, Jasmine from Jasmine Talks Beauty , Erin from Make Erin Over and Erin (again) from Erin Azmir are definitely my huge inspiration! Not only they have the coolest and prettiest theme, they also have tons of killer posts.
  • Take a break. Honestly speaking, taking a break from blogging is 100% okay. Sometimes I get a little too overwhelmed, exhausted and I just don't have the right time. I used to be worried about taking a break from blogging (well, up until now actually), but I don't have to push myself sososooo much. It's very okay to take break.
  • Make a list. Okay this is new. You guys might find this weird but I do list down the things that I love about blogging  in my little notebook because I want to focus and zoom in on the bright side of it. It actually helped me to enjoy blogging once again! I love making lists and once I'm done I will read them over and over until I get all giddy again. Then, and only then my brain can function and blogging again.
  • Try and find new post ideas. If I don't want to work on my drafts, I will simply Google and try to find awesome blog post ideas so that I get inspired and motivated. #GoogleIsMyBestFriend
  • Push myself but not too much. At the end of the day, I still have to push myself a bit too. However, I don't want blogging to become a chore or a hateful reminder of something I have to do. I do pushed myself (like what I'm doing now) but I'm not giving my 100% effort in it. I mean I still have to put up a new content on my blog or else people might think I'm dead.

Have you ever fallen into a blogging slump? How did you escape from it? Tell me in the comments!

The Body Shop Spa of The World Dead Sea Salt Scrub

In today's post, you will be reading my The Body Shop Spa of The World Dead Sea Salt Scrub review (that's a long name!) This range is intended to provide us the feeling of luxury upon a day in a spa but in the comfort of our homes. So fancy! It also draws on some of the highest quality ingredients that you may not have used before. Juicy! So, what to love about this product? Let's dive in!

First things first, let's talk about the packaging shall we? You can definitely see that The Body Shop has upped their packaging game. The packaging looks very luxurious and it feels luxurious to touch. Not just this baby right here, but all the products in this line be having lit packaging! A+ for packaging. The container is a plastic with the feels of a higher quality plastic and the gold detail on the packaging just adds more high quality for the packaging. Besides, who doesn't love gold? Oh did I mention that the tub was huge? It's massive! This stuff will last a long while.

This salt scrub is not like ordinary salt scrub or at least the ones I have tried before. Not too many scrubs have floated my boat as a lot of them are 'gentle' to me. I like my scrub to be definitely scrubby and this one fits the bill. You can tell that the size of the salt is seriously on the larger side.

This sea salt scrub is thick and creamy! My arms and legs feel so moisturizing and super hydrating, I don't feel the need to moisturize afterwards. I love that a little product can go a long way and after I'm done and wash it off, I don't feel greasy in the least but my skin has this supple feeling and almost glowy! I'm addicted to it. However, if you ever want to use this scrub I recommend using it in the shower after you do a bit of showering because this stuff is quite messy.

Oh I almost forgot about the fragrance! Bear in mind that this baby is quite perfumed. It has a strong but nice scent kinda smells like you are in a luxurious spa but it's not obnoxious or whatnot. I actually like that my towel smells like the scrub.

  • Super moisturizing
  • Not heavily greasy or oily
  • Skin feels soft and smooth for days
  • A little goes a long way
  • Last a long while
  • Nice scent

  • Its massive container can be a little not travel-friendly
  • Some may find that this product is quite expensive but it's worth it and it will last a long while and it's made from the highest quality ingredients

  • Anyone who has dry skin mostly on the arm and leg area
  • Anyone who loves products that are well scented
  • Anyone who enjoys body oil or body cream

  • MYR160 (price may vary at certain places or online)

  • All The Body Shop stores near you
  • Online (link)

This is a lovely scrub even though I don't really use it that much, I only use it once a week. Even so, my skin feels super supple and hydrated for days! I'm loving it and I'm going to continue using it but as of now I'm not thinking about repurchasing it, maybe I won't but we will see.

Have you tried this sea salt scrub? Have you tried anything from this range? What are your thoughts about it and what else you would recommend?
