Things You Didn't Know You Needed Off Of Shopee
I know I am on a year-long low-buy this year. It's a method to limit the number of my purchases. A low-buy is actually pretty familiar among beauty bloggers but I don't want to limit my purchases to just beauty. I want it to be a low-buy for my entire buying habits.

Why you ask? Well, I kinda want to bring a bit of moderation into my buying habits this year. I want to be mindful of what I am purchasing. I am in my mid-20's and there's a lot of stuff I need to be spending my money on. This way I can easily cut down on my excessive expenses and learn to not follow your lust.

Phew, that was a long disclaimer. Anyway, in today's post, I have compiled a few things from Shopee that you didn't know you needed. For my non-Malaysian readers, Shopee is Asia's #1 shopping platform. It's basically Asia's Amazon. It has E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G in it. So this is kind of a wish-list slash must-have items on Shopee (that's probably under RM100 each!) — so fill your cart and get ready for the 3.3 Shopee Sale!

1. Trolley-Style Storage Rack
One of my best purchases off of Shopee! This is perfect for your room to hold your belongings, and also perfect for the kitchen to hold your bottle of spices. I was obsessed with it (for weeks) when I first assembled it.

2. Another Trolley-Style Storage Rack
Another cheaper option I could find. I just love being organized. It pleases my eyes. I want to get this one probably to hold succulents or something.

3. Waterproof Silicone Face Cleanser
If Foreo is too much money for you, I have one that's a fraction of the price. It operates similar to the Foreo; it vibrates, it's waterproof. I only use this on my lips because I think it works well to remove the dead skin on my lips.

4. Rose Gold Aesthetic Storage Basket
I probably have a gazillion of these laying around the house because it's too pretty and I just need lots of it. I am a neat freak. They really managed to keep all of my stationery, makeup products and beauty tools look so much tidier. Or you can use it as a prop for your flatlay. Multi-function, come thru!

5. Minimal Clothing Rack
If you're into the minimal concept type of bedroom, this is a definite must-have! I used to have one but I gave it away because I have tons of clothes and they didn't fit my aesthetics at that point in my life. Now I regret that decision.

6. Mini Portable, Foldable, Multi-Functional Desk
Godsent! This is perfect for the days when you're too lazy to leave your duvet but you still have a lot of work to be done. You can get cozy with this mini desk. It remains in my best purchases list off of Shopee and I have been using it religiously.

7. Cutest Foldable Ring Light
It's very easy to store, wouldn't take up so much space and overall just a cute ring light! I have been eyeing this for so long. It comes in handy when I need to take pictures at night or just to up my selfie game a notch.

8. 4 Steps Household Folding Ladder
I have a fear of heights. I think that explains why I need this in my life. I am so scared of the standard 10-foot-reach ladder. It gives me anxiety. I don't trust those ladders.

9. LED Star Projector + Speaker
My nights are never the same anymore with this star projector. It basically projects a bunch of stars onto your ceiling and walls and most of my nights are so magical with this. And you have the option to use it as a speaker as well. It's literally so fun and my s/o love it too!

10. Lazy Arm Flexible Phone Holder
An avid movie watcher like yours truly needs this in her life. You sure don't want to hold your phone all the time while watching videos or movies on your phone. You want to get comfortable, right? So this will come in handy. It's also quick and easy to install.

11. Irregular-Shaped Mirror
A unique decorative mirror that suits everywhere in your house or if you don't know what to get for someone's birthday, get them one of these mirrors. I would want one for myself.

12. Cheapest, High-Quality Makeup Sponges
Beauty Blender who? Real Techniques who? This is the real deal guys. I don't recommend it if the product is terrible. I've entirely ditched my RM99 sponges for RM4 sponges. It works identically! It's bouncy, soft and delivers similar finishes to my foundation look. These RM4 sponges are surprisingly so durable and lord knows how rough I can be with them. They survive every squeezes and pinches!

13. Reed Diffuser
I have to have any sort of fragrance in my room. It's a must. So I have tried a regular diffuser before and that worked just fine. I just want to try something else, for instance, this reed diffuser. I have heard a lot of great reviews so I am quite intrigued!

That's all I have for today! I only recommend products I love and would love to try in the future. I hope you will love to try it as well. Just want to put it out there really quick. If you enjoyed this type of post, let me know I will do more of it. See you in the next one!

  3. We have the same trolley! And yesss, I love how it looks in my room. It keeps all my skincare and makeup items in one neat place. My sibling bought a pink colour version and it looks ADORABLE too.

And YES, cheap makeup sponges from say, iMagic or some unbranded sponges, are actually surprisingly good?? They last for ages and feel so soft and bouncy when applying concealer or foundation on the face.

    1. I love that trolley! I even made a dedicated IG story organizing my stuff in there. I am THAT excited haha! And yes I would never go back to buying Beauty Blender sponges or even RM30+ sponges. My RM4 ones work well, some even better! xx

    1. I haven't tried Foreo because it's ridiculously expensive for me but it's kind of cool device to have for your skincare.
