Favorite Fragrance

Let's talk about perfume. Well, who doesn't love to smells nice? Me, I can never have enough perfume. I can be pretty particular when it comes to scents but I have a variety of perfumes that I really love. I just love to smell nice all the time. I love receiving compliment about the way I smell LOL. All I can say is that, I never really dressed until I put on perfume. It's like the icing on the cake! Just a little extra "umph" then I'm good to go.

1. Flora by Gucci

I have tried to choose a signature scent several times and I think this is it. Yes. It smells sweet and sexy at the same time! It does have a strong scent but not that kind of strong that will bleed your nose, y'know what I mean? This is a scent that will stand out from the crowd. The staying power is A++ and I'm really grateful that I bought this perfume. I get tons of compliments when I wear this. Couple of sprays are all you need and you good to go girl. You can get this at Sasa, quite affordable. Would I repurchase? Hell yeah.

2. Vanilla by The Body Shop

I have been using this fragrance for ages! It matches me so well. Like, we're cliqued. The scent is very soft and soothing but still very noticeable. I got that one friend who wants to bite me so freaking bad because I smell delicious LOL. The longevity is pretty weak I would say since it's an EDT especially when I'm outside for 4-5 hours. You can get this baby at pretty much TBS store or online!

3. VS Pure Seduction

I really like this one over the rest of the mists. Pure seduction has a very romantic scent that makes me fall in love instantly. It has a strong but relaxing scent at the same time, y'know what I mean? I'm really bad at this LOL as long as you get the idea! Oh, it has a little sweet, floral scent too. If you are that kind of girl, you might love it. Staying power, umm... it's a body mist. What do you expect? Hehe, I mean I have to "renew" it by spritzing a little more every couple of hours.

I hope you enjoyed this post! I will try more perfumes in the future but these are my favorite at the moment. It's actually difficult to write about perfumes LOL but regardless I enjoy it. I would love to read some of your favorite scents in the comment section! Till then <3

My Makeup Story

My Makeup Story | Lenne Zulkiflly

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone! I have seen this tag circulating around plenty of beauty bloggers' now and it's very interesting to read and I can relate to some of it too. So I thought I would do this since I have been tagged by Erin long time ago LOL. Let's begin!

How old were you when you started wearing makeup?

I think I started wearing makeup, like proper makeup at the age 13. But when I was a kid, I used to play with those kids makeup palette that has eyeshadows, blushers and lip colours.

How did you get into makeup?

I don't know. I think it's my interest in makeup. I want to know every single bit of it and I always look up tutorials on Youtube. It's very satisfying to watch though I never try them LOL. I just love to watch tutorials. Who's with me?

What are some of your favourite brands?

My ultimate favorite would be Maybelline, IN2IT, Simplysiti, Silkygirl and MAC.

What does makeup mean to you?

Makeup is enhancement. It's not only about covering up blemishes, but creating looks that can boost up your confidence level. How you doll up your face is very important. Use the makeup to enhance your features and it's not for somebody else, but yourself.

If you could only wear 4 products o  your face, what would they be?

Hmm.. That would be Maybelline BB cushion, Maybelline Rocket mascara, Etude House blusher + highlighter and Silkygirl Matte Junkie in Retro. (If you want to do a review about this product, let me know!)

What is your favourite thing about makeup?

My favourite thing about makeup is the fact that a little something has the power to transform so much. Especially the way makeup can boost confidence in somebody.

What do you think of drugstore vs. high end makeup?

I feel like it doesn't really matter what the brand is, be it drugstore or high end as long as it works wonder for you. Makeup shouldn't be all about the brand, company or price tag. Choose a brand based on their ingredients and how well they work on your skin. I don't believe in paying ridiculously expensive for something when there's a perfect duplicate and just as good.

What is the on makeup trend you've never understood?

Prolly contour. I'm a failure when it comes to contouring. Where can I order Jeffree Star's cheek bone? A ready stock preferably.

That's that. I hope you enjoyed reading a little bit of my makeup story. Whoever reading this, please make a version of yours! I would love to read. Xoxo
