Hello, gorgeousness! Today I will be showing you where I store makeup a.k.a my minimalist makeup organizer. This is pretty much my entire makeup collection after I decluttered some that have barely been used or overall went bad. However, I still have products that I don't store in here, particularly my eyeshadow palettes because they're ginormous.

This year I am trying to keep my makeup collection as minimal as possible. I want to have maybe just 1 or 2 products under the same category so I can finish them before they turn bad.

Anyway, the makeup organizer you're seeing is from MR. D.I.Y for RM43-RM45. They have different sizes, compartments, even shapes according to your liking. I have a bunch of them to store my beauty tools, facial cotton squares, perfumes, etc.

Let's start off with these two little compartments where I store 4 of my favorite eyeliners from IN2IT. I just love their eye products so much. I still have that eyebrow pencil that my aunt got for me from some kind of drugstore in Japan and Silkygirl Funky Eyelights Pencil. I also have a few lip products here. I have my Sephora Cream Lip Stain, IN2IT Color Stix Matte Lipstick, 2 lip balms from Mentholatum and a lip balm from Nivea.

Here I have Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless foundation, Maybelline Superstay 24HR Full Coverage foundation, Maybelline Baby Skin primer, Too Faced Primed and Peachy Cooling Matte Primer, Maybelline Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer, IN2IT Mineral Setting Spray, Hey, Babe Skin Pre-Makeup Oil and my recent favorite Skintella Serum by Kayman Beauty. I don't know if I should do a review of this serum and the entire skincare range. Would you like to read that, though? Let me know!

On the other side, I have heaps of lip products. It's crazy, I only have one lip. But anyway, here I have 3 MAC bullet lipsticks, 1 Maybelline Powder Mattes in Toasted Brown, 1 Maybelline Creamy Mattes in Craving Coral, a lip cream also from Maybelline, a matte lipstick from Silkygirl, a plumping gloss from Catrice, IN2IT Lip Poppin' Tint, 2 Silkygirl MLBB Lip Tint and Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Backtalk. I also got 2 fragrances that I use every day which is from Sugar Bomb and Bvlgari.

In the top drawer, I have all of my contacts and an eye drop from Eye Glo. On the flip side, I have IN2IT blush, Maybelline Fit Me! blush and an Essence Matt Touch blush. I also have a pencil sharpener that I got from Watsons, Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Black and underneath those, I have a bunch of eyelid tape and acne patches.

Next up is this drawer that contains 2 concealers and 3 mascaras. I have the Maybelline Fit Me! concealer in the shade 20 Sand Sable and of course, the tried and trusted Tarte Shape Tape in the shade Medium Tan Sand. I also got the L'oreal Lash Paradise mascara, Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara, and IN2IT Lash Define mascara. All three of these are my absolute fav!

We are almost done. This drawer contains only 2 products being my contour/bronzer and setting powder drawer. Here I have the IN2IT loose setting powder and Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer that smells heavenly but causes me to breakout. I know. Why would I risk myself and use it again, right? It is a 69 ringgit bronzer which is equivalent to USD17 for a drugstore brand, of course, I am going to use it because das esspensive.

In the last drawer, I have theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer, MAC Soft & Gentle, Catrice Sun Lover Glow bronzing powder and a dirty beauty blender because homegirl is busy and maybe, just maybe, a lil bit lazy. Aaaand I guess that wraps up today's post. I hope you enjoyed it and let me know what you think. See you in the next one xx

What's On My Minimalist Makeup Organizer

Where do you store your makeup? Do you have an organizer?

Now playing: Lauv - Feelings

Hello, gorgeousness! I have been attempting to do posts like this where I can chat about every little thing that piques my interest. I want to share with you how my day or week is doing. This is not a monthly thing. Whenever I feel like chit-chatting, I'll be on it. To be honest, I have done a few posts like this in the past and it was okay until I figured I am awful at keeping up with it. So here I am attempting to do another chit chat type of posts. Let's hope I can keep up with it. Here goes nothing.

One

I did the laundry, cleaned my vanity and all of my makeup organizers. Oh, the makeup organizers, they collect bags of dust!

Two

I washed all of my working shoes. I wear sports shoes to work because I get to move from one place to another a lot in a day, so sports shoes it is. Since it is the rainy season, I gotta clean them almost every week now. #NotComplaining

Three

I went to Mr. D.I.Y with my mom and got a whole lot of supplies for my mood board (of some sort)! I have been meaning to do one for so long and I have it now! I am so looking forward to adding more stuff and do some changes here and there. It's pretty simple but this is just the way I like it. I have my savings and workout spread attached on there so I can easily tick it off without the fuss to flip open the pages on my journal or something.

Four

I got myself a boba tea from Gen. Z (a brand new boba place in my town) and it tasted just like any other boba tea I have tried before. But I gotta say I loved the ruby pearl, though! It's not like your typical black pearl and I was definitely having it. The staffs were also really nice and welcoming. I love the vibe, I could sit there for hours. Absolutely going to check out the other drinks next time, they have like a gazillion type of drinks!

Five

Currently working on the "what's in my makeup organizers" type of post. I haven't figured out the exact title just yet. I hope it turns out great and it is something that many people actually requested to see and I don't even know why. I guess it's fun to take a peek on other people's makeup organizers? Anyway, this is what I always, always look forward to every weekend — to write. Why? The internet can be a dark place at times. I am just glad I have my own happy place (which is my blog) to express myself and work on my mental wellbeing.

Six

I am currently on sick leave for 2 days because I was diagnosed with respiratory tract infection. I have been coughing non-stop (and oh my goodness, it gets worse at night) for at least 4 days now. Being so sick like this is unusual for me so I went to the doctor and he gave me some meds and 2 days off from work so that I am not too exposed to the outdoor environment. Ladies and gents, since the influenza outbreak is pretty severe now, please pack a mask, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, and whatnot and bring it to wherever you go because god knows those viruses are everywhere. Please, take care <3

That's all! Be seeing you xx

Hello, gorgeousness! Entering the new decade, I feel the need to revamp my skincare regimen. While everyone says beauty is only skin deep, those skincare routines are still going strong. I know for a fact, I am one to get sucked into product hype in the beauty world. But 2020 is bringing me some newer changes in the health and beauty department. And today, I decided to share with you what I have been doing to step up my skincare game this year. So, game on!

Simple routine

Nothing is really simple when it comes to me. However, this year, I am bringing it to a halt. While we see all those 10-steps Korean skincare routine tutorials online (that works every so often), most of us know we don't have time for that. It doesn't suit my lifestyle. So in 2020, it will be all about simplifying that tedious skincare routine. I am now using just ONE product for every single step. Also, my AM and PM routines are no different, minus the sunscreen at night. And that's that. I must say my skin benefits so much from the simplified routine!

Here goes my updated skincare routine for 2020:
  1. Cleanser - Kayman Beauty Coalface Soap
  2. Toner - Kayman Beauty Rosa Glow Treatment Essence
  3. Serum - Kayman Beauty Skintella Serum
  4. Moisturizer - Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel (link to post)
  5. Sunscreen - Wardah Sun Care Sunscreen Gel (link to post)

Not to mention the weekly exfoliating and masking, though. I am falling in love all over again with the SomeByMi Miracle Toner and as far as the mask goes, Dr. Morita has got to be it. Homegirl gotta hydrate and #HydrationIsStillTheKey in 2020.

Paying more attention to ingredients

I have started this a while back actually but this year particularly I want to give more attention and be mindful of what I am putting on to my skin. Whether it is ascorbic or mandelic acid, retinol, I am going to be more aware of what suits my skin the best and pick products accordingly. For instance, The Ordinary Niacinamide serum didn't work out for me which is weird because my skin loves any skincare product that has Niacinamide content. And let's not forget I am now ditching all of my skincare items that contain alcohol because I can see a tiny bit irritation going on when I use any product that contains alcohol.

The 60-second rule

The cleansing method introduced by the global esthetician that we all love - Nai, of LaBeautyologist. I have tried this method since last year but I wasn't that committed though. In 2020, however, I am going to oblige myself to commit to this method AM and PM. It is apparently game-changing. I can honestly say my skin texture looked a bit softer, a significant decrease in pimples and overall brighter. No, my skin hasn't transformed thoroughly but I definitely saw a difference. Don't really mind losing that 60 seconds of my life, though.

What do you do differently in your skincare game this year?

Stepping Up My Skincare Game in 2020

Hello, gorgeousness! Today's blog post is for everyone that has been around and reading my blog since at least 2018. If you're a long-time reader of this blog, then you might remember I did a review on the Hansaegee Nature bubble cleanser and its moisturizer as well.

Read here: I | II | III

Do you remember? Is this ringing any bells? Well, Hansaegee Nature is like a hidden gem to me. It creates products centered around the formulation of the herbal and natural extracts. It's really one of a kind in my book and I was really interested in it back in 2018. They have been around for quite some time now and I honestly think you're missing out if you don't know about this brand.

Why Hansaegee Nature is a brand one should trust and love?

For those of you who don't know, Hansaegee Nature is a skincare brand based in Malaysia and all of their products are made in Korea. They have been around since 2011 - that's not a short amount of time we're talking about here.

They totally pull out all the stops to provide good, high-quality skincare products for us Malaysians. I'm always intrigued by how is it so many people have outstanding reviews and pleasant experiences while using Hansaegee Nature skincare products every time? Well, that's probably because they strive to give us completely safe and easy to use skincare products.

Hansaegee Nature is one of those brands that I would personally recommend you to try. Why? Because I have tried it myself and it's awesome and it's a shame to not share it with you guys. I love the bubble cleanser and moisturizer. They worked so well together and at some point, I was unable to go with my day without using them. I was panicking when I found out I was running low on it so I went and repurchased them. Just like that.

All the panicking wasn't necessary though, because Hansaegee Nature's products are easily accessible online at their website and their website only. No agents, no Hansaegee Nature's products sold at Watson or Guardian, no other online shop channels. You only can get it from their official website and I think it was a smart move for them because they can control the quality and safety of their product sold to the customers. Although some people might disagree, I think to be able to access the business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is superb. You can shop anytime, anywhere.

Hansaegee Nature isn't a new Malaysian brand in the market, they have been around in the beauty industry since 2011, like what I said just now. From that moment on, they have been launching a fair amount of in-house products following the success of their remarkable Gold Nano CC Cream. This is a must for people that love an all-in-one makeup and skincare base product. It's great for beginners as well, as it has a natural finish and it's hard to mess up with.

Notes:
  1. Great brightening, anti-aging, and UV-protection properties
  2. Paraben-free, sulfate-free, alcohol-free, EU allergen-free, fungal acne (Malassezia) safe
  3. Natural radiant finish with medium coverage
  4. Minimum to zero oiliness
  5. Closely resembles a physical sunscreen

Now let's talk about the match-made-in-heaven combos that I hugely fell for. First up, the Aloe AC  Clean Bubble Cleanser. The cleanser that has helped me get rid of my angry, bumpy, textured skin. I knew I made a great decision to review their cleanser. The foamy, soft and light texture is great for all of your skin concerns - oily, dehydrated, redness, etc. One of the key ingredients is Aloe Barbedensis Leaf Juice — treats acne, moisturizes the skin, reduces dark spots and is anti-inflammatory and Tea Tree Leaf Oil — combats excess oiliness on the skin and soothes irritated skin. I have said this millionth times but my skin just loves this cleanser. It got rid of all of my skin concerns at that moment and I'm left with less acne, less bumpy skin and redness.

Notes:
  1. Paraben-free, sulfate-free, alcohol-free, silicone-free, EU allergen-free, fungal acne (Malassezia) safe
  2. Great acne-fighting properties
  3. 90% of the ingredients are listed as 'low risk' according to the EWG Health Rating standard
  4. Increases the moisture content of the skin
  5. Soothes and alleviates sensitive reaction

With that being said, that doesn't mean I love the moisturizer any less. My skin benefits so much from the moisturizer as well which is the Aqua Whitening Cream. I must say it is one of the great moisturizers for anyone who has oily skin and dehydrated sensitive skin out there. It contains Camellia Japonica Seed Oil — moisturizes deep into lower layer skin and Niacinamide — reduces acne, evens out skin tone, improves the appearance of large pores and control excess sebum and Niacinamide is life. Love me some good skincare products that are well-formulated and won't necessarily upset the skin.

Notes:
  1. Paraben-free, sulfate-free, alcohol-free, EU allergen-free
  2. Great brightening and anti-aging properties
  3. Suitable for all skin types and skin concerns
  4. Powerfully moisturizing

What's more to love about this brand is that their website is packed with detailed information. I just want to highlight their effort to enlighten us, customers, about each and every product. It tends to really annoy me when sellers don't provide adequate pieces of information about their products. Hansaegee Nature also provides a free shipping option for orders above RM70 and a good amount of free gifts for every purchase.

Alone | I always, always find time to be alone, physically and personally by myself. I enjoyed my own company. Most of the time, I got lots of thinking done when I'm all alone.

Being babied | Being treated like a baby by my favorite person was such a blessing. You showed lots of affection which is just what I want, had to drive me everywhere and made sure I would never go to bed angry or sad - *internal screams* Thank you for taking care of me, sayang

Chickenpox | It was one of the miserable and awful weeks for me. Enough said. I don't want to experience it ever again.

Domain name | Yes, lennezulkiflly.com just celebrated its one year birthday!

Employed | I would say having a paid job is really, really awesome. I made it clear it's not my dream job but in this economy, you should be grateful for having a job that pays a decent amount and you get to treat your mom and yourself. It doesn't matter if it's a part-time job, a full-time job, a 9-5 job, everyone's hustling and of course, never stop hustling!

Flourishing | I can see myself grow so much more and do well as a person in 2019. I kept doing the best that I can and getting better day by day.

Graduated | I graduated diploma back in August 2019. Good times.

Healing | The year of healing, finding my true, joyful self back. It was not a smooth sailing journey. I thought I was healed after all this time but healing happens in layers, y'know. Sometimes you have to revisit old wounds several times throughout the years.

IG-less | I went on an Instagram hiatus and completely ditched and uninstall the Instagram app on my phone and it was one of the best decisions I have made.

Just go with the flow | It's okay to go with the flow and live life as it comes to you. It shows just how perseverance you are as a human being.

Karaoke nights | I love karaoke nights! I definitely had the best times with my loved ones every single week. I made it crucial to have a karaoke night every weekend because why the heck not?

Liberosis | I had liberosis for many, many times at some point in my life. It is the desire to care less about things. I am not quite sure if it's a good thing or not but at least I didn't get anxiety as much as I would anymore.

Mom | I am so grateful for having one. Moms are precious. I couldn't thank her enough. My mom packed my lunch, drove me to work, tucked me in my bed. The list could go on. And as a 23-year-old, it seems like I'm spoiled but I don't mind being spoiled, still at this age by my momma.

New friends | I met quite a number of new genuine, cool and kind people this year. I almost did not want to believe it but God has shown me proof that these people still exist. Here I am today surrounded by new awesome people in my life.

"Okay, boss!" | My frequent way to reply to my boss. Or sometimes, my bae.

Privacy | I managed to do so many (good) things behind closed doors and I feel like not everyone deserves to know every little thing you do. Privacy is so rare nowadays, I feel.

Quality time | Quality time with family is beautiful and is something that I will always look forward to every single week. Even if you only have a few hours, spend that few hours together. It's a blessing.

Realization | That "this plot of my life doesn't even make sense to me anymore" struggle was real. Have you ever felt this way and realized that your life could have been different and maybe, better? I know I do, up to this day. Going into my mid-20s is hella wild like literally A N Y T H I N G can happen. But homegirl survived 2019 and that's what matters the most!

Speak out | I did it even when no one wants to listen.

Trip | I need to do more traveling but last year was not so bad. I took lots of trips around Lahad Datu (which is my hometown, if you don't already know) and went to places I have never been to. It was awesome.

Upbeat | My second half of 2019 was pretty upbeat and happier compared to my first half. I was having a positive tone kind of day every single week without failing. I think it has something to do with me being optimistic 24/7. Well, I guess it's worth it.

Vagueness | My world is so full of uncertainties but I eventually embraced it like a boss.

Wisdom tooth | I finally got my wisdom tooth removed after several times of "my-tooth-is-doing-just-fine-I'll-take-painkillers-instead" excuses. I decided to wait a little bit too long to have mine taken out, only because I was so terrified of undergoing the procedure. The moment when my gum got inflamed and swollen for the second time then I decided to just get it over with and get it removed asap. Homegirl is not weak. No. My momma did not raise me to be a quitter.

Xmas holiday | Festive seasons = holidays = more sleep.

Yay for makeup and skincare | What's new? I am 'that' girl and will always be. I just think in 2019 I was more mindful of what I am buying and I tend to do comparisons a lot. That keeps me from buying unnecessary stuff and never actually use them. Yea, I was a little more mindful than before.

Zest for life! | Thank you and goodbye, 2019. You were seriously filled with excitement and surprises and I love that.

How's your 2019? Do you have any New Year's resolutions?

My 2019 in Alphabetical Order
