It's been a whirlwind of a week, where I have been knee-deep in the delightful chaos of updating our shop over at Sisters & Brushes. From handling orders to making sure every package is packed with love, it's been quite hectic. But amidst the hustle and bustle, I have found joy in the tiniest of treasures that make my everyday life feel big.
There's something special about noticing the little things, not necessarily the fanciest ones, in our everyday lives. Here's another roundup of those tender, heartfelt joys and petite wonders that have graced my recent days.
- Despite the sniffles and cramps, I managed to get up and move. There's something empowering about feeling the strength in my body, reminding me that I'm resilient, even on the tough days.
- These first few weeks of 2024 have me feeling super liberated. There's a sense of renewal and endless possibilities in the air.
- Evenings spent with my cat by the window, watching the world go by, are the ultimate therapy.
- Learning a new recipe with the entire family eagerly waiting to taste the final creation is a heartwarming experience. It's not just about the food; it's about the laughter, bonding, and shared joy.
- There's an indescribable joy in feeling raindrops hitting your skin. It's like nature's way of washing away any of your worries.
- Watching ridiculously cheesy shows on Netflix with the family and laughing uncontrollably at their absurdity.
- The bliss of a restful sleep. Waking up before the phone alarm rings, feeling like a cloud and fully restored, is a luxury that can turn any day into a good one.
- Skintific cushion foundation! Can we take a moment to appreciate the wonder that is this little gem?
- Watering the plants and having a little chat with them – because, why not? It's strangely therapeutic.
- A partner who'd drop everything to make sure you're okay, bringing your favorite pastries on the way home.
- Supporting my favorite creators on Instagram has become a small yet impactful ritual.
- Knowing that my small effort in boycotting brands associated with genocide makes a difference – it's a reminder that every choice we make matters.
