Yes, I am 23. Exactly, today.

I can't believe it either.

Being 23 is no better than being 22. And yet it's so unfamiliar and distinct. I am now a young adult though I haven't felt like a young adult for some time. But there is always something you should learn and will learn by this time. Just unsure of what is to come next but hoping it's something good.

Nevertheless, here are my 23 Things To Know Before Turning 23.

1. People change. You are not how you were in school few years back.

2. Own up to your mistakes. Admit and reflect.

3. Social media isn't worth it.

4. You will lose friends, but will always gain new ones.

5. Always, always, find privacy in this public world. Privacy is so rare nowadays.

6. Do not be so obsessed with getting skinny and neglect your health.

7. Do not let other people suffer just because you suffered.

8. When you learn from someone, teach someone else. Never stop learning and teaching.

9. SUCCESS WILL ARRIVE AT ANY AGE. After all, age is just a number.

10. Save some money, even if it's really hard.

11. Be proud of your achievements, even for the littlest bit. You deserve it.

12. Get angry when you are angry. Cry if you want to cry. It is okay to show your emotions and it is better to let it out now than to keep it in forever.

13. Some will love you and some will hate you.

14. Take long walks. It is therapeutic and good for your health.

15. Never let someone make you feel bad for doing something you enjoy.

16. Never beg anyone to stay in your life.

17. Stop apologizing for who you are. You are not here to please everyone else.

18. Sleep more. Get 7-9 hours of sleep a night, every freakin' night.

19. Life is not linear. It can be overwhelming, just take a step back and breathe.

20. Everything in this world is temporary. Appreciate the good while it's there and do not stress about the bad.

21. Somewhere, somehow, shit just works out itself so stop worrying too much. Things always find a way - just be the best you can be. The rest will take care of itself.

22. You will be afraid, but feel the fear and do it anyway, baby girl!

23. You will be okay one day, just know that for now.

What are the things you need to know before turning 23?

Do you know any other things that only us bloggers understand?
Hello, gorgeousness. I know it can be quite a challenge to find things that actually help your blog. I, myself spent hours upon hours researching websites and apps that could help me organize my blogging life.

I have been meaning to do this post so I've gathered quite a few blogging tools and resources that I love to use and has made my blogging life easier. Some of these I discovered through other bloggers and others I found randomly. You don't need all of them, of course, but I used them for my blog every time! Hopefully, these will save you the headache of scouring the internet for the best resources.

Photography/ Editing Apps

Snapseed - This photo editing app is one of my go-to's to edit my blog photos. Snapseed is a powerful editing tool with an easy to use interface that helped improve my blog photography. It has great features and functionality. It also has this amazing 'brush' tool to spot adjust exposure and saturation - I love it to bits!

Lightroom - I occasionally use Lightroom for my blog photos. Most of the time when I'm not satisfied with Snapseed, then I'll use Lightroom. A little heads up, Lightroom is a paid app but worth paying in my opinion.

Canva - I love Canva mainly because I get so inspired to create beautiful graphics and its flexibility! It has nice templates and completely free (there are also paid ones so if you don't mind spending a lil bit of money, go ahead) that I love to use for my IG story every time I updated my blog.

Logopit Plus - A stunning app I used to create my header. The app is pretty simple, straightforward and easy to navigate. You can absolutely do more things with it but I love it as my header maker.

Phonto - If I want to add a certain text to a photo, this is my bestie. It allows me to download my own desired fonts and it's pretty easy to use.

VSCO - VSCO's sharpening and tint tools are pretty decent in my opinion. It has tons of pretty filters too, of course, but for the most part, I love those two functions.

Writing/ Content Creation

Grammarly - Probably the app that has helped me big time with my blog. It's a great app for bloggers whose native language is not English. It detects and corrects grammatical errors, suggests better words for your article and helps construct better sentences in more cohesive ways.

Portent - This website basically helps me generate amazing titles for most of my blog posts. Sometimes when you have a bomb ass article to put up on the blog, you gotta have the most appealing and attention-grabbing kinda title to go with it. There is where Portent comes in.

Stock Photos

Sometimes when you don't have the time to take pictures for your blog, stock photos are always a great alternative. It's totally free and fast. My absolutely favorite websites are Unsplash and Pexels.

Analytics/ Tracking

Statcounter - I love Statcounter. It's not as detailed (and complicated) as Google Analytics but I used Statcounter to just see basic statistics and to see who has visited my blog and where they've come from and whatnot. It's really good for small blogs like mine.

I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know your favorite blogging resources you're using for your blog!
