New In My Beauty Stash #2

New In My Beauty Stash #2 | LENNE ZULKIFLLY
Hello, gorgeousness! Ever since I got a new job, I am spending my money like there's no tomorrow. I think it's purely because when you have more money, you have a higher percentage of purchasing power. I feel the need to try new things every single day. There's just so much that I haven't tried!

But note that I am not spending more than what I earn. I do have a portion of money that I kept and saved for my future. So no worries. And another thing I think worth mentioning is that when you're intrigued to buy something, please read reviews and ingredients. That's all. Now let's jump right in because I have a lot to say.

What's new in my beauty stash:

Maybelline Super Cushion Flawless Matte Cushion

Right off the bat, the name of this BB cushion is everything that I want when it comes to my base. Flawless and matte. I do love other finishes besides matte, just to let you guys know but my oily skin says no so, I always opt for something that says matte. I picked the shade Natural Beige and to be dead honest, their shade range sucks. I mean, c'mon it's twenty freaking nineteen.

Anyway, it has 14g of product and it has an SPF of 25 PA+. Please do not take flash photography with this BB cushion. Just, please don't. Okay, let's talk about the coverage real quick. It's definitely light to medium coverage. It's a drugstore BB cushion, what do you expect? I would say if you don't have a lot of imperfections to cover on your face, this is perfect for your everyday base. If you're a full coverage queen, umm this might not work for you.

Another thing to add, it has a slight perfume scent that I don't like and it does bother me for a couple of minutes. So, you've been warned. Other than that, I think I don't hate this product but I don't love, love it either.

IN2IT Make-Up Stay Mineral Setting Mist

I bought this setting spray a few days before Hari Raya because I didn't bring any and I want my makeup to last longer on Hari Raya. I don't know if this is new but it's new to me. Okay, you can instantly see polar bears and icebergs on the packaging. It's there for a reason, right? It says iceberg, seastars collagen, aloe vera, and chamomile. I believe those are the star ingredients.

I honestly think it did make my makeup last longer. I think it did a pretty good job holding my makeup in place. People have been complimenting my makeup was so good even though it's freaking 10PM. I could be wrong, maybe it's not because of this setting spray but I don't mind it. It's not expensive and it's alcohol-free. I think it's worth trying, that's what I'm trying to say.

Silkygirl OMG Powder Matte Lipstick

I hate this. I'm so sorry, Silkygirl. You can't beat Maybelline's powder mattes. Even though if you're not trying to beat their formula, yours ain't it. This is the most drying lipstick I have ever encountered in my life. It feels like there's almost no moisture, no glide in this lipstick. I'm tugging my lips every time I wear this and it's not something that I would want if I'm wearing lipsticks. The only thing I like is the color and the component. Don't waste your money, girls. Opt for something else if you have dry lips. There, I said it.

Simple Regeneration Age Resisting Eye Cream

Here's the thing, I'm not one that cares so much about the skin around my eye area. Until one day I had a thought of having so many wrinkles before I reach my 30's. That's a nightmare in my book. My mom is in her 50's and barely has any wrinkles on her skin! I strive to be just like my momma. So I went and bought an eye cream. An affordable one, of course.

I cannot say that this eye cream completely made my tiny little fine lines vanish. That's honestly me lying to your face. But what I will say though, ever since I'm using this eye cream, my undereye concealer looked so much better. Way, way better than before. It's so smooth and hydrated under there otherwise, it'll be like a Sahara desert okay. I do believe that upon consistent usage, I will actually be able to see a difference but I have been using this eye cream for only a month. So there's nothing much to see yet, but I like how my under-eye is behaving as of currently.

Simple Kind To Eyes Revitalising Eye Roll-On

This is just like a so-so product for me. I mean, it's kind of working and really treating puffiness and tired eyes in general. I like the cooling sensation once you put on the roll-on underneath your eyes. It really wakes you up, especially in the morning. I honestly love that. Overall, I don't hate this product but umm, it's not a favorite of mine. Okay? Let's move on.

L'oreal Lash Paradise Mascara

Oh. My. God. I never picked up a product so fast in my life like I picked up this mascara when I saw it's finally available in my local drugstore! I know, we're pretty late to the party. But let homegirl have a moment. Anyway, this mascara is so super hyped up in the beauty community that I was a bit let down actually with it. I was expecting something extravaganza up in here, but the result was... okay... but not what I expected it to be.

I mean, don't get me wrong. It's not bad at all. It's still volumizing, I can promise you that but I can totally achieve that volume with my Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. And not to mention this mascara is flipping 53 ringgit a tube. I'm not mad about it but it's nice to have and all.

Essence All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder

I love love LOVE this powder. It's honestly so good if you have oily skin because it's going to keep your makeup matte and intact all day. Not to mention if your eyeshadow won't blend together or is patchy in some areas, this baby will come to the rescue. It has saved me a couple of times, thank the lord.

Dr. Morita Hyaluronic Acid Essence Mask

I think it's time for me to calm down and not rave so much about the Mediheal face mask because honestly, there are tons of other great options on the drugstore, such as this mask from Dr. Morita. Oh. My. Goodness. I think Imma go and buy another bundle of this mask because it's a godsend. I notice when I wear this at night and I have to wear makeup on the next day, my makeup looks super flawless! I mean c'mon, it has hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, ceramide, and squalane. So, of course, it has to work.

Okay, guys. This post turns out to be like a mini-review or something. So I'm going to stop here or else it's going to be super long. I hope you enjoyed today's post and I'll see you in the next one xx

  1. 02) I'm using the IN2IT setting spray too and overall it's doing its job to make my make up last longer. Idk if it's just me though hehe

    03) I've never love a lipstick like how I love this Silkygirl Matte Lipstick. The colours are so nice I wish to have each for every colour!

    06) The Lash Paradise was viral a few weeks back and I thought of buying it too but since it's quite expensive for me, I didn't get it. I guess I don't have to after reading your review about it ;)

    1. I'm using the IN2IT setting spray religiously! It's actually SO GOOD. I'm glad the lipstick is working well for you, though! I agree they do have nice shades. As for the Lash Paradise mascara, it's better not to get your hopes too high or you'll end up being let down like me. It's not a bad mascara though, but I guess I've put a high expectation for a tube of mascara :(
