Five Things In June 2021

Well, hello there. It's been a crazy few weeks for me and I am still processing things in my head, that's why it took me this long to have my Five Things in June post up on the blog. So many things going on behind the scenes with my career, the blog and my personal life. It's almost overwhelming but we're not here to discuss any of that, yet.

Anyway, I hope everyone was having a blast in June, here are my Five Things that made me happy in June and I am grateful for them (better late than never, baby!)

Your girl is officially microchipped! Just kidding. If you didn't know, I got my second dose of the COVID vaccine on June 20 and that's that. I already got my digital certificate with me and my vaccine card is all stamped. I have shared my overall experience of getting the vaccine on this post and go ahead and read that if you haven't already.

I spent a little less in June because I was highly generous with my expenses in May. And my low-buy/ no-spend was and still is going strong. I was pretty good at doing my PM routine last month as well. Yay me!

My sleep pattern was all over the place last month.  I was going through some things and the vaccine side effects were really the cherry on top of everything.

I have seen this all over Instagram and Tik Tok and I decided it's time to give it a try myself. Yes, this time I have fallen into the “Tik Tok made me buy it” rabbit hole. Anyway, let me tell you that this exfoliating mitt is a game-changer!!! I kid you not, where has this been my entire life?

My skin feels so freaking soft, I feel like a newborn baby. I am gonna have everyone feel my skin now. It's freaking smooth. My regular loofah could never! I am sorry but I am ditching my The Body Shop loofah for this. This is incredible for RM5! Your skin will love you. No ingrown hairs for weeks! I am so glad I watched that random video at 1 in the morning. I highly, highly recommend it. 

tati westbrook is back on youbube!

It took one whole year but Tati is back you guys!! I think my life is much better now, the world feels better! I honestly never thought this day would come, but she's here. My one and only beauty guru that I trust and look up to most of the time and will go out of my way to buy all of her recommendations. 

I am just glad she didn't take her time to address all of the drama and lawsuits happening because all that matters is that she's back and better than ever. I just want to have a weekly beauty talk with her and I finally get it again. What a time to be alive.

Very summer-inspired. If you know me, you know that these are not really my colours. I am a more nude and muted gal all year round if you will. But I don't know what's up with all the changes in me recently. I kind of dig these bright and pastel shades on my nails. They're so bright and actually so pretty! It makes me smile a lot.
