40 Beauty Questions Tag

Hey everyone! Feeling kinda bored at the moment and realized it's been ages since I did one of these tag things. So, I was just poking around on Google for some blog post inspiration, and stumbled upon this 40beauty question tag. Figured, why not give it a shot? Let's keep today's blog post super chill and relaxed.

SKINCARE 

How many times do you wash your face daily?

I wash my face during the day when I'm in the shower and during the night before I go to bed.

What skin type do you have?

I have oily skin. I used to hate it but I read somewhere that if you have oily skin, it will slow down the aging process! Now you can look younger than the rest of the fam lol

Do you exfoliate? 

I do. 2-3 times a week.

What brand do you use?

I'm using the Good Virtues Co. Glowing and Goodness Brightening Facial Scrub.

What moisturizer do you use?

I use the aloe vera gel that I got from Guardian as my moisturizer because I had a tough time finding a good moisturizer for my skin. The aloe vera gel works amazingly on me so yeah.

Do you have freckles?

No, I don't.

Do you use eye cream?

I don't but I wish to have one in my skincare routine though.

Do you or did you have acne-prone skin?

Yes, I do. 

Did you ever have to use Pro-Activ?

I believe I haven't tried using that brand. Is it good? If any of you is a Pro-activ user, comment below! I want to know your thoughts about it.

MAKEUP

What foundation do you use?

I'm currently loving the Sephora 10HR Wear Perfection Foundation. It's alright for everyday wear and it doesn't cause me to break out so that's always a plus for me.

How about concealer?

I'm use the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer for my under eyes and Maybelline Pure Mineral Concealer for my pimple scars, dark spots, and redness.

Do you know your undertone colour?

Yeah, I'm more on the neutral side. 

What do you think of fake lashes?

I tried wearing them quite a few times but it was so uncomfortable maybe because I'm not used to it. But those soft and romantic looking ones are pretty and I think it compliments and dramatizes some eye looks making them appear more beautiful.

Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?

I do but sometimes I just don't want to throw my half-used products because that'll be a waste #SorryNotSorry

What brand of mascara do you wear?

Maybelline and Silkygirl.

Sephora or MAC?

Both....?

Do you have a MAC Pro-card?

I wish!

What makeup tools do you use in makeup application?

Makeup brushes, makeup sponges, and sometimes I use my fingers haha.

Do you use a makeup base/ primer for the eyes?

Nah fam. I just use my trusty ol' concealer and set it with powder.

For the face?

As for now, I don't because I'm always in a hurry so I gotta skip that.

What is your favourite eyeshadow (colour or shade)?

I gravitate towards warm-toned shadows over any other else.

Do you use a pencil or liquid eyeliner?

Both. I use a pencil eyeliner to tight line my eyes. And liquid eyeliner I love to use is from the brand IN2ITthe brand IN2IT. They are as amazing as Maybelline's and Loreal's.

How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?

Just for the first time when I tried to tight line my eyes and I think that's all.

What do you think of pigment eyeshadows? Like glitter pigments?

I think they're cool and I wish to have one in my makeup collection. 

Do you use mineral makeup?

No, I don't.

What is your favourite lipstick?

MAC Velvet Teddy. I'm not over it.

How about lipgloss?

I tried lipgloss from Revlon and I would say it's not the best but not the worst either. Just okay.

What is your favourite blush to use?

Gotta be MAC in Dainty!

Do you buy your makeup on eBay?

Never.

Do you like drugstore makeup?

Of course, I do! I'm like a bargain gal.

Do you go to CCOs? (Cosmetic Company Outlets)

Never heard of it in my place though but if they have it in here, I will be the first to go.

Did you ever consider taking makeup classes?

I did, actually.

Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?

I believe that I'm not.

Name a makeup crime that you hate.

Unblended contour/ warm contour!

Do you like colourful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones?

Neutrals all the way! They suit every occasion.

Which celebrity always has great makeup?

Angelina Jolie! And if I'm allowed to mention one more celebrity, it would be Jessica Alba.

If you could leave the house using just ONE makeup item, what would you use?

Definitely lipstick.

Could you ever leave the house without makeup on?

Yes, if I'm too lazy to even wear lipstick.

Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?

Of course.

In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?

They are all amazing be it high-end or drugstore, please don't make me choose.

What do you think of makeup?

Makeup is an enhancement. It's not all about covering up blemishes but creating looks that can enhance your features and boost your confidence level.
