Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Hello, gorgeousness! I hope everyone is safe and staying at home. I'm back with another review. It's been a while since my last review, huh? So I recently placed an order for the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge online. There's no way I can get this at the drugstore (at least in my place) because it's not available here. So I got it online for RM38 plus shipping. What a bargain!

I have used and tried quite a lot of blending sponges which were mainly dupes of the original Beauty Blender but I wasn't satisfied with a lot of them. I'm a hard judge, I know. I guess mainly because of the stiffness? Some of them are too stiff, hard to work with and not get bigger if I soak them in the water.

Anyway, first impressions were good, I like the shape and the size of it. The color is pretty but I wish they have it in other colors. The firmness of the sponge is very soft and after wetting it, it becomes even softer. Pretty much like Beauty Blender. It bounces really nicely on the skin too. Mine came with a super convenient travel case. It's great for traveling and not getting your sponge dirty.

I like the fact that it gets bigger in size when I dampen the sponge with water. It's the very thing I look for in a blending sponge. I like the distinct surfaces that this sponge has. It has rounded edges, a flat surface and a precision pointed tip. Because of the unique surfaces that it has + the softness of the sponge, I face no issues with my blending process so far. I have been using it for a week now and I absolutely love it! It's so easy to get into those narrow corners of the face. I got totally impressed by the first use.

Okay, I'm in shock still, I don't want to rave about a product because obviously, we want different things and our likes and dislikes are definitely not the same but hear me out. My smile lines they tend to gather foundation residue. No matter what I do, they will always collect. But within the usage of this sponge, I found that I'm no longer having those foundation residues on my smile lines. Am I crazy or am I crazy? I have come to believe that this sponge blends my foundation evenly, it doesn't soak up too many products and still maintaining the coverage of my foundation. It's insane. My foundation never looked better, nice and fresh for much longer than usual.

Another bonus about this sponge is that it is way easy to clean it. Because of the softness, I'm able to squeeze out and clean every bit of makeup residue from this sponge and I don't have to worry about tearing it down because it still has some firmness to it.

You guys can probably tell by now that I love this sponge. I'm really sorry I didn't clean the sponge hence the little foundation residue there. I was at work the whole day and got pretty tired already so please deal with it. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the outcome of the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and for RM38 it's definitely a steal. The quality matches the price. After I bought this sponge, I ask myself why on earth would I pay RM99 for a sponge? (Looking at you, Beauty Blender)
