Makeup Products That Never Fail Me

Today I will be sharing with you my best, most-loved makeup products all in one post. These products are my ride-or-die, best of the best, holy-grail, works every time, I have repurchased over and over again. I am a makeup junkie. I am talking buys-every-product-in-the-drugstore, owns-10-shades-of-nude-lipstick makeup junkie.

I started wearing makeup at an early age. I started wearing small amounts of makeup to school as a preteen (mostly tinted lip balms, mascara and black eyeliner), and by high school, I had fully realized my beauty obsession. Over the years of wearing and trying out tons of makeup, I have definitely picked up some holy grail products that never fail me.

Makeup Products That Never Fail Me

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser
I have been using this primer for years and have repurchased it countless times, and I swear I will always pick it up and have it on my vanity. It doesn't break me out and it leaves my skin feeling smooth and prepped for foundation application. It doesn't entirely eliminate your pores but it definitely lessens their appearance.

Maybelline Superstay 24H Full Coverage Foundation
This foundie is truly the hidden gem of drugstore foundations for oily skin and I am so bummed it doesn't get enough recognition in many beauty recommendations. I just love the formula of this foundation, it has high coverage, never feels heavy on the skin and has better oil-controlling properties. I can't get enough of how nice my skin and makeup look with this foundation on.

Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer
Need I say more? This is my can't-live-without-it concealer. Although it's quite pricey for a concealer, a tube lasts me forever. It's the most full-coverage I have ever used but the consistency isn't cakey or heavy, instead, it's super lightweight and comfortable on the skin!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette
Never repurchased this one yet but I have definitely hit pan on some shades in here. This is an absolutely divine palette. I love every single shade in here and it's perfect for any occasion. Great pigmentation, blends like a dream and works every time. I know so many people love the Modern Renaissance but it has nothing on Soft Glam. The reds, browns, dusty rose, and champagne shades will definitely add a touch of perfection to your look. You need this eyeshadow palette in your life!

Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner
I have no idea how I have never even reviewed this liner on my blog. This is the only liquid liner I use and I will never try another liner. The Hyper Sharp liner stays on through sweat and tears; it's super black, and it doesn't bleed and glides on smoothly.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
I have tried tons of mascaras in my life because it's one of my favourite makeup products. I just want to try them all and see which one is THE ONE for me since I have very sad lashes. I can't seem to part ways with this mascara in particular. It makes my lashes look thicker and I look like I have a lot more lashes than I actually do. It does a great job lifting, curling and volumising my lashes. It doesn't flake and it separates my lashes beautifully.

Maybelline Fit Me Powder Blush
(This post is not sponsored by Maybelline, I just freakin' love their products.) I love these blushes from Maybelline because they're satin finish blushes. It has such a flattering finish that adds a subtle glow to your cheeks. I have been using this for years and it never fails me.

Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer
For my medium skin tone, finding a bronzer that is pigmented and warm enough to show up is hard. But thank goodness for Fenty Beauty, right? I love their bronzer, especially in the shade Caramel Cutie. It truly gives me the sun-kissed warmth to my face and the formula is undeniably smooth and easy to blend, doesn't look muddy and is buildable. I can't recommend it enough.

theBalm Mary Lou-Manizer Highlighter
Oh, the classic. Mary Lou-Manizer is an OG product. It seems to be one of those universal, one-highlighter-fits-all products. Mary Lou-Manizer is really a gem. I remember I had to save up to buy myself a Mary Lou-Manizer while I was in college because it was a freaking RM100 for a highlighter. But it was worth it; it's a smooth, soft and buttery highlight that melts into your skin beautifully.

MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick
Last but not least, another classic. When I first tried it out, I didn't like that much at all. On most other girls, it seemed to be the perfect nude, not too light or not too dark. But on my medium skin, my lips looked washed out. Over time, I kept persevering with it and learned to mix it with other lipstick and I'd fallen in love! It's now my go-to, my best friend which I always have in my purse.
