26 Things To Know Before Turning 26

Eeeekk, I just turned 26!! I still feel like I'm 19 years old. And that was 7 years ago. MADNESS.

In what feels like the blink of an eye, the number 25 has become 26. I know it's only a year apart and it would seem that a year wouldn't make much of a difference, but hey, a year can pack an ample amount of experiences and lessons of a lifetime. Everybody goes through different phases in life and we learn numerous things as we go through it.

Turning 26 definitely comes with greater expectations to have it all figured out. How about no thanks? Just kidding. Despite all the pressures that growing older comes with, I try to convince myself that there's a silver lining to this and focus on growing and reflecting as much as possible. We still have a long way to go, but she's progressing! I will continue tapping into a better version of myself, be more confident about being my own boss, try various things, and always celebrate small wins.

25 was a wild ride, but I'm excited to see what 26 brings.

Anyway, I know it's been a long post, a long list of things to know before turning 26. If you read all the way down here, thank you for bearing with me. I hope that it resonates with you and makes you think and gain some good insights from it. If you have other things to add to the list, let me know in the comments. We could all do with a little piece of life advice sometimes.

So with that... here's to 26! Live a great life, loves ♡

  1. Happy birthday, Lenne! These are such great observations, I remember feeling like I'd 'learned it all' in each year of my 20s... Now that I'm in my 30s, I realise we're all always learning!
