As the name suggests, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel is a very lightweight product with a soft gel texture. It comes in a luxury looking and attractive packaging that has a nice weight and heft to it. The aqua blue really represents the feeling of water and hydration for sure. It contains 50g of product and retails for RM60.20 (price might vary depending on which drugstore you get it; I bought it at Watsons).
Now it is time for me to actually tell you why I love this moisturizer! (I think I love it even more than the moisturizer I got from The Body Shop).

I absolutely love the texture of this moisturizer! It's so lightweight. It feels like water, literally. It's fluid-y but not runny, almost thinner than most gels with a very light aqua (almost translucent) color. It absorbs almost immediately into the skin after application. No greasiness whatsoever, just moisture and hydration.

Apart from hyaluronic acid, it also contains quite a number of different dimethicones. As you may know or not know, dimethicones are silicon-based ingredients that will form a layer on top of the skin. You know it's gonna smooth out your complexion and that my friend, makes it a great base for makeup. I never really mind dimethicones in my skincare products as I am not sensitive to it.

All in all, I really like how Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel feels on my skin as it fulfills my skincare needs. It gives me enough hydration and does not irritate my skin. I believe this moisturizer is targeted towards people that lean more to oily and combination skin. I don't think it will provide much help if you have dehydrated skin or dry skin.
