Beauty Product Empties #7

Hello, gorgeousness! We're kicking it old-school again in today's post. We're going to talk about products I've used up and would I buy them again in the future? Oh, you guys know the drill. I want to cut it short in today's post, not because I have so much stuff to talk about but maybe I have a lot to say about a certain product. So, let's dive in.

Beauty Product Empties #7

Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Toner - Major love!

I'm going to breeze through the product that you see all the time which is this very toner. Yes, I went through another Simple toner. I'm kinda obsessed with it. My skin loves it so much and it's cheap and easy to get. No complaint. At all.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing water - An okay product

I'm not a huge fan, I would say. I'm pleased that it contains no alcohol, though to be honest, after finishing this bottle, I don't think I will be repurchasing. I've found another micellar water that works better and maybe I will talk about it soon!

Simple Kind To Skin Micellar Cleansing Water - Me no likey

This is probably the worst micellar water I've ever tried. If you're a full coverage all day err day kinda person like me, this is not strong enough to remove your makeup. It usually took me 4-5 cotton pads to thoroughly get all the makeup off. That's a lot, sis. However, I like how it left my skin in the most comfortable state after removing my makeup. There weren't any tightness and dryness. I guess when I'm out and about and wear tons of makeup, this is not my first choice to remove my makeup at the end of the day.

Good Virtues Co. Calm & Compose Purifying Makeup Remover - No love

Another makeup remover that I will not buy again. It stings so bad when the liquid got into my eyes! It's also highly fragranced. I don't like it. And it has the same case as the Simple micellar water where it didn't work effectively if you're using full coverage and waterproof makeup.

SK-II Radical New Age Power Essence - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

This was given to me by a person that I no longer talk with. Why am I telling you all of a sudden? Oh my goodness, TMI. Anyway, I love this essence so much. It gives me a healthy-looking glow every time. Dare I say, my face felt a lot firmer and flawless and bouncier. This product is definitely a worthwhile investment but I can't see myself purchasing this again and again. Maybe one day if I have all the money in the world, I will buy this again and no one can stop me.

The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom Strawberry Kiss Eau De Toilette - Yes love

I love the scent of this. It's so fruity, fresh, and sweet all at the same time. It's infused with Japanese cherry blossoms, that's why you're getting a bit of floral scent here and there. Top notes are strawberries, peonies, and amber. Love it! And can we talk about the bottle for a second? It's so pretty! I will definitely buy it again. I love it when my room smells like this baby.

Silkygirl MLBB Lip Tint - Repurchased!

I'm a sucker for lip tints. As you're reading this, I'm still waiting for my other lip tint to arrive in front of my doorstep. Why does it take so long? Anyway, this lip tint is just so nice, light and airy. It still has a nice and even residue on the lips after a meal. I like it, so I purchase another one in a different shade.

Japanese Cherry Blossom Strawberry Kiss Body Cream - It's alright

It's not the worst but I'm not a fan. I like the scent, of course, it's fruity and sweet. It's pretty much like any other body creams/ lotions I've tried before. I like the texture and the size of it is perfect to keep in your handbag.

Essence Matt Touch Blush - Mi love!

I love the product but the packaging is not the best. Maybe that's the reason why it's so inexpensive. But that doesn't mean it didn't work. It's absolutely worked, beautifully. The colour is pigmented but controllable and I like it when I'm able to control the pigmentation.

Essence All About Matt Fixing Powder - Not a bad product but...

I've repurchased this quite a few times and I like it as a finishing and fixing powder. After some time, I realized I'm actually fine without it. It's not a bad product but it didn't do much. So what's the point of repurchasing? That's why I stopped buying it. It's nice to have but I'm completely fine without it incorporating in my makeup routine.

Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer - A staple

Another product that you get to see all the time. I've repurchased this so many times already. It works so well and recently I discovered that it works amazing as an eyeshadow primer too! No need to buy eyeshadow primer since my Fit Me concealer already took the job.

  1. Out of all, I've tried Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. It was just nice for me to remove basic foundation + compact powder. However, I found it hard to remove the full makeup during my engagement etc, luckily I had Simple Cleansing Oil, it worked WAYYY better!

    1. I like the one that has a blue cap but that contains alcohol :( I repurchased that one a ton but maybe one day I'll use it again for the sake of "re-visiting my old favs" haha. Simple cleansing oil is awesome! I like to use that when I do the "skin gritting" :)
