Five Things in March 2022

It's time for another monthly Five Things post. Take a peek at the previous Five Things post here!

Five Things in March 2022

Just when I thought February was the shortest month ever, March showed up and proved me wrong. How is it that March just disappeared? *Ignoring the fact that I question the time, basically every single Five Things post eeeekk* Anyway, a lot of fun was had but last month also had its own fair share of frustration too. I am really looking forward to a new month and seeing what April has in store!

Not keeping up with some things online

And it's kinda fine to me? Well, I went Instagram-less for about six months a few years back and this was a no-brainer. I am putting a limit on what I consume on a day-to-day basis. I had that snap-of-a-finger moment and boom! I was so overwhelmed. I gotta take a break from some things online. But honestly, I haven't missed much. I have mostly been focusing on myself and just the little things since being disconnected. Sipping on my comfort tea without my phone getting in the way. Soaking up all the blue skies and sunshine that I meant to get. It's so ironic that one of my monthly intentions for March was to be more present online — ah yes, you can only plan.

Although I am not doing much every day, I find that this slower way of using social media makes me feel so good and I wake up feeling incredibly grateful, and happy and I am ready to tackle the day!

March after-the-pen bullet journal flip through

*Once again ignoring the fact that I fall head over heels for my bullet journal spreads in every single Five Things post*

P/s: I went a little cray-cray last month with my spending JUST BECAUSE I was PMS-ing for more than a week, spent a lot on good food, and lots of appointments and it was also my s/o's birthday month. I had to make some changes and excuses. I am going to do better this month, I promise.

Almost a year of Sisters & Brushes!

Over eight months ago, my sister and I made a brave decision to relaunch Sisters & Brushes. I was so nervous and so did my sister but we knew this time we are ready for it. Sisters and Brushes is like a one-stop centre, a home for all our handmade, small-batch, carefully made clay creations. We're basically minding our minds during a pandemic and it was one of the things that bring us joy.

It's been a roller-coaster ride since then. We've sold out an entire collection in 3 days, we hit our 1000-sales milestone in 3 months, and one thing that never gets old to me is packing our customers' orders. Never fails to put the biggest smile on my face. I think relaunching the business was probably one of the best decisions we have ever made.

Yes to more beach walks

My safe haven. My place. My second home. There aren't any right words that could define my addiction to the beach these past few months. The feeling of sand between my toes and warm water on my feet. I would love to spend my life living near the beach and if I need something to calm me down, it's just a few steps away. The dream!

The love and support for my bujo!

I know I haven't got much to update on here, the content I have for March was some kind of over the place. They were mainly just fillers and long overdue posts and I apologise if you were expecting something else groundbreaking from this blog. I am trying not to be here much when I am not at my best.

But anyway! I have received a monumental love for my last month's bullet journal spreads on Instagram. I was so overwhelmed when lots of people reposted my creations and DMed me asking for advice on photography, growing my account, being consistent etc. It was huge for a newbie and a small account like mine. I am so grateful to be sharing my learnings and lessons with you guys. Thank you for appreciating my art and my little creative space. It was beyond any doubt one of my March highlights! <3
How was your March? What are some small things that made you happy?
