Five Things In December 2016

Oh 2016, it seems you are leaving as quickly as you arrived. You have been a tough one, you have tested my patience and pushed it to the limit. Ahh, the ups and downs. Did you all achieve what you set out to? Let's be real, did you set any goals at all? Whatever it is, hopefully we all have good memories and accomplishments to take with us into the new year.

But before anything, let's see what's up in December.

five things in december

Rentals and bills

The cost of living in the city is just crazy. Crazy. I'm just a student and I'm unemployed. Recently, two of our house members moved out and that means everyone has to pay more than usual to cover the payments of the two fellas. Could this month be any worse?

So many semester projects, so little time

I want the time to slow down so I can fit everything in it. No excuses though, but I haven't made time to blog lately. The semester projects are killing me. The last three weeks have been packed! I just started a new semester but it feels like a final week or something. Heck lot of presentations, projects, and submissions. That's what has been keeping me busy these past few weeks. This is only the beginning girl, there's more to come and I probably should stop whining.

Taman Botani Negara

Ahh, roommates bonding time! We will have at least a day to discover places and just hang out. So this time, it's the Taman Botani Negara.

A very chill and calm place to visit; we had a great time although we didn't manage to discover the whole place. We got so tired from walking and waiting for the bus. They also provided cycling facilities that cost MYR10 for an hour but we're just not feeling it.

Christmas movie marathon

A week is about enough to have a movie marathon. I'm currently on Christmas break so why not? I just love the idea of snuggling with my plushie under the blanket while watching my all-time fav Christmas movies and every once in a while listening to the sound of the pouring rain. Ahh, who doesn't love that!? Oh! And my all-time favorite Christmas films are definitely Home Alone, The Holiday, Love Actually, and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. What is your favorite Christmas film?

I didn't make any New Year's resolutions

I haven't made a New Year's resolution yet. Actually, I didn't plan on making one just because I feel like it's pointless. I have set out so many goals in the past... I don't know, 3 years? And I barely achieve any of them. I feel like it's almost impossible for me to achieve if I make one. I see plenty of bloggers resolving this and that and that's a good thing. But I don't know, I don't need New Year's resolution to spur me this time. If I want it, then I want it and I'm going to achieve it. There's nothing I need to resolve to do, nothing dramatic or requiring a resolution to push me forward. That's that.
All in all, I hope you had a splendid December and meaningful 2016. May 2017 brings you many joy and happiness! 💖
