My Most Repurchased Beauty Products

My Most Repurchased Beauty Products

Hello, gorgeousness! I watched a lot of beauty videos as of late and they're mainly from smaller channels on Youtube. I've been really into smaller beauty channels because I just want to help them wherever I can during this trying time.

Anyway, I've seen a lot of them do this kind of content and I truly think it speaks volume. Reviews and first impressions can be somewhat helpful but I personally want to know how many times someone repurchases something. If you repurchase a product that literally does mean that you really, really enjoy it. So I want to make a version of mine. Let's go, it's a long one... (Some links used are affiliate links)

Maybelline Superstay Liquid Foundation

My favourite full-coverage foundation that wouldn't break the bank. It's insane how many bottles I've used up and still have a few bottles in my stockpile in case they stop making it. One of the best drugstore full coverage foundations that wear well all day long.

IN2IT Cover Smooth Loose Powder

I'm an oil-slick so setting powder is my best friend. I have yet to find and try loose powders from another brand at the drugstore. This one from IN2IT does the job stunningly at keeping me not looking like a greasy mess throughout the day.

Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer

When I say it doesn't crease under my eyes, it doesn't crease under my eyes. It's everything I ever wanted in a concealer. It's full coverage, blends into the skin seamlessly, and wears well all day. It's so easy to work with and once it sets it just stays in place all day. I can see why it's totally worth the hype.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

The amount of how many I've gone through this mascara is insane. Perhaps, this is my most repurchased mascara from Maybelline. It gives my lashes the fluffiest volume and holds a curl all day long. It's clump-free, it doesn't flake and more importantly, it doesn't give me 'panda eyes'. This is just what I want in a mascara that most probably wouldn't break the bank.

Silkygirl Expert Brow Slim Liner

Another favourite from the drugstore is this brow product. It's by Silkygirl and my fellow Malaysian sisters know that Silkygirl is probably one of the most affordable makeup brands here at the drugstore. Silkygirl made some killer eyebrow products. I like their eyebrow pencil too like the one you have to sharpen every time but this one is more convenient for me and it's so skinny! I can achieve whatever brow shape I want with this brow liner. I really appreciate how fine the tip is on this product. It's super easy to make hair-like strokes.

Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer

This is a little pricey for something that I keep repurchasing. I've never tried a mattifying primer that is quite like this. It's mattifying, pore-filling, and it evens out my overall skin tone. One more thing that I want to point out other than it smells heavenly is that it has a cooling sensation upon using it on the face. I don't know what's in there but I like it.

Pixi Glow Tonic

I've gone through an absurd number of this toner. And the fact that I always get the smaller, travel-size bottle because I feel like I'm being economical, but I fly through them like about a month (I use it twice a day), baffles me. I didn't like this toner at first because of the stinging sensation. But as time goes by I'm getting used to the stinging and now I don't feel it like ever anymore. I like that it's exfoliating and it along the way helps get rid of the acne scars I have. It literally does leave my skin supple and glowing, hence the name.

Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Facial Toner

I'm all about hydration, baby. And this toner is one of my very favourites. It's alcohol-free, it has brightening agents, and most likely wouldn't do anything that will upset my skin. If you ever read my empties post, I mentioned this toner quite a few times because I just love it and it's cheap and accessible.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel

This moisturizer is like love at first use for me. I instantly fell in love with the texture and the things it did to my skin and how well it matches my skin concern. It feels lightweight but gives me enough hydration day and night. I personally think it does the job for me but some people think this moisturizer is just a 'scam'. You do you, boo.

Kayman Beauty Coalface Soap & Skintella Repairing Serum

I'm going to breeze through and talk about these two babies together because they're better together. It's from a local brand that I believe is not available outside Malaysia. It's thoughtfully created by a woman that I adore named Nabella Anuar. The whole skincare range is carefully made for a lot of skin concerns using natural remedies that are proven to work well, pretty much all the time.

I almost didn't want to change my skincare routine and stick to these two babies in terms of my facial cleanser and serum. I've been in a situation where I've been getting a lot of acne and the scars are just the worst. I almost gave up but the moment I decided to try the cleanser and serum from Kayman Beauty, was definitely the moment I believe miracles could happen and it comes in a soap and liquid form. Haha! But it's true though. I've never been so confident going out with friends and the love of my life with a bare face. It's definitely a long time coming and it's worth it in the end.

Props to you Kak Belle and your team. You know what you're doing and you won't give out nasty products for us. I will keep supporting because in times like this I just want to give my support to small businesses, local businesses that actually make money-worth products.

Visit kaymanbeauty.com if you're in the range and want to step up your skincare game. This is not sponsored at all, I just want to help :)

That's it for today's chit-chat, you guys! I hope you're having fun. Definitely check out some of these products if you haven't already. Tell me what kind of content you want to see next on the blog. I will give it to you. Be seeing you xx

What are your most repurchased beauty products? Do you have any recommendations for me?

  1. I've been seeing so many people recommending the Tarte shape concealer and I'm even more intrigued now that you like it. Concealers tend to emphasise my eyebag wrinkles a lot and I can't do much about it and let it be. And YESSSS, I love Kayman Beauty products!! I first tried their essence. Quite expensive yes, but my face felt so glowy and even after a couple of weeks/months of giving it a go. I'd definitely recommend everyone to try it. 😍

    1. Well, we're very much the same when it comes to under eyebags. But to me Shape Tape is a whole another level, girl. I don't like to hype products too TOO much but Shape Tape is something else. You can layer it up and it will conceal, won't emphasize, won't crease. FYI I didn't get the hype around Shape Tape at first because spending more than 100 ringgit for a tube of concealer is definitely not it for me BUT I bought it anyway just to see how much I will like it. I guess, it's obvious that I treasure it so much haha.

And I agree with you on Kayman Beauty. Their products are all surprisingly so good and work well. I hope they will continue to bloom and make more great products :)

  2. Mine are Kayman CoalFace Soap and Klairs Supple Preparation Toner. I have been using both continuously and loving it each time.

    1. So happy it's working well for you! I love their Coalface soap so much, I don't know how many times I've repurchased it. It's insane!

  3. This is a useful post! If you repurchased them again and again, they must be working well for you.
Anyway, you mentioned 3 toners. Do you use them all at the same time?

    1. My bad, girl! The third one is actually a moisturiser. Sorry! But the other two, yes, they're toners and I use them both at the same time :) Pixi is like a chemical exfoliator that gently exfoliate dead skin resulting in more glowing, radiant skin. While Simple is just a regular hydrating toner I use all the time to hydrate as well as to allow the skin to have a balanced pH level :)
