Hello, gorgeousness! I have been in the process of making over my bedroom for the past 2 weeks, I would say. I have been wanting to do this for such a long time and now that we've quarantined ourselves at home, I am taking the opportunity to beautify the feature wall of the bedroom.

The bedroom's feature wall has long been a sore point for me. I mean, it's THE bedroom. It's one of the most-used rooms in the house. I have kept it boring and dull for such a long time so I need something new to add a little bit of life and elegance to it.

I was thrilled when Photowall, a Swedish company that offers premium well-designed wall decor, reached out to me and asked me if I would be interested to blog about wallpapering a space in my house. To be honest, I denied them in the first offer because wallpaper feels exciting but it can be intimidating but they were so lovely, I was still given an offer after declining their deals. Thank you so much!

I was so blown away by the endless patterns that they have on the site. I am going through a bit of a style change for the past couple of weeks. I have definitely fancied the more simple yet elegant styles. I gave it a few days and finally decided on the Voguish Wall Panel in Pink.

It's so simple and fits the mood I would like to make the room. The room is pretty small, to begin with, so I knew I had to go with the less extravagant pattern or something less crowded. The design I chose was pretty subtle in colour yet so elegant and would complement the existing somewhat all-white bedroom.

My package arrived within the same week which was ridiculously fast for something that's coming all the way from Sweden. Here's a sneak peek of what's in the packages; two rolls of wallpaper (they're pretty freaking heavy) and everything I need for my DIY project. The packages come with an instruction sheet but I also watched the tutorial on Youtube, as I prefer visual instructions more, especially when I am not experienced.

I followed the tutorial and the numbered wallpapers totally made it easier for me. It was kind of tricky when it comes to wallpapering around the door frame and the light switch. But it was a success, aye? I was alone during the whole process but I assure you it's not that hard. I kind of worked in batches where I would put all the wallpaper paste on the top part of the wall first, and stick the wallpaper, and work on pasting the rest of the glue at the bottom part of the wall.

I let all my hard work dry overnight and admired them the next day. I was really impressed with the result. The quality of the paper is out of this world, it's really durable yet easy to work with.

Working alone means there's gonna be hiccups here and there. There's some part of the wallpapers that developed a bit of a blister because I must've been missed covering some of it with the paste but that's okay, nothing too noticeable. I also touched up any loose edges (trust me, they're a lot!) with more paste. I have to say, the wallpaper really transformed the room and added so much elegance and sophistication to it. It feels like a new room!

I loved the whole experience with Photowall, I am so pleased with the result and the ease of putting up the wallpapers. I thought I was going to faint by doing all the work alone but it was definitely a fun time and I wasn't really alone, technically, I have my s/o FaceTimed me during the whole process haha!

I couldn't stress enough about the quality of the paper. It's so durable and I have nothing to complain about in regards to Photowall. And their customer service team was very responsive, friendly, and helpful as well. Don't mind me, I am still admiring my work and obsessing over my new, upgraded room. It was a fun DIY project!

Now for the even more fun part, if you're interested in a new look for your home, Photowall is kindly offering you a whopping 25% off on any of your purchases this month by using my code lennezulkiflly25 (offer ends March 31, 2021) Take this opportunity and check out Photowall now!
